MILIANA MAINEWA VUKIVUKITURAGA

Milly was born in Lautoka, Fiji. Having spent two years in Manihiki, she moved her work to Rarotonga to become part of the whale research project. Milly was a huge part of the fabulous 2010 humpback field season in the Cook Islands. She experienced some of the most incredible humpback behaviour ever seen, dramatically changing her life. She gave birth to a little girl on October 28th 2010, named Nan Daeschler Eli Raikatalau who is the youngest member of our team. Milly has travelled with the whale team to Maine and is an integral part of the everyday logistics.
