ZOE BOWDEN and ANABEL LUSK

Kia Ora! We are third year students at Victoria University of Wellington who are studying Environmental Studies with Development Studies (Anabel) and Environmental Studies with Politics and Law (ZoŽ). We have been lucky enough to spend the best part of February 2011 volunteering with Nan Hauser in Rarotonga- paradise!

We are both very interested in global climate issues, and specifically how they affect the people and environmental conservation of the Pacific. We are hoping to pursue careers in this field, linking in to research led by people like Nan. The opportunity to spend time working with the Cook Island Whale Research team has been invaluable, and we hope to continue contributing to this amazing cause in the future.
